"Forgotten Hero" honored by local community
Keesler personnel, members of the American Patriot Riders, and parishioners of the Nourishing Place chapel attended a Forgotten Hero ceremony held Aug. 28, 2014, at Biloxi National Cemetery for Maj. Pierre David Junod. The Keesler Honor Guard performed military funeral honors for Junod, who was a U.S. Air Force navigator during the Vietnam War.
