Keesler tests readiness with HAZMAT exercise

Senior Airman Willie Moore, 81st Logistics Readiness Squadron forklift operator, lays on a stretcher to be transported to the Keesler Medical Center during a hazardous material exercise scenario Nov. 5, 2014, at the Taylor Logistics Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The exercise scenario began with an Airman accidentally hitting a 55-gallon drum of sulfuric acid with a forklift and knocking several more drums off of a truck causing the liquid to splash onto other Airmen. Immediately, the Airmen simulated skin and eye burns from exposure to the agent, while additional Airmen on the loading dock started coughing and experiencing shortness of breath. Moore was the simulated driver of the forklift. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
