Retired Chief Master Sgt. J.J. Vollmuth; Col. Michele Edmondson, 81st Training Wing commander; and Retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 Francis Herbert cut a ribbon during a ceremony in Cody Hall April 26, 2016, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. A room was dedicated to Herbert for his 50 years of service in air traffic control in the Army, Army Air Corps, and Air Force from 1942-1972, then as a Keesler civilian instructor for 20 years.
