15 years later, we remember
Col. Michele Edmondson, 81st Training Wing commander, Chief Master Sgt. Vegas Clark, 81st TRW command chief, and Keesler emergency rescue members place a wreath on display during a 9/11 memorial ceremony, Sept. 12, 2016, on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. Fifteen years ago on Sept. 11, 2001, 19 terrorists simultaneously hijacked four passenger jets; flying one into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., two into the World Trade Center in New York City, New York and one crashing outside of Shanksville, Pa.
