Airman 1st Class Michael Conners, 81st Inpatient Operations Squadron "I could think of no one else that deserved BTZ more than Conners," said Tech. Sgt. Patricia Boydston, 81st IPTS. "He is not only a leader among his peers and an outstanding medic, but his dedication to his coworkers and his community is what really sets him apart. He is truly a selfless person and we are honored that he is a part of the critical care flight." Airman 1st Class Erika Hatfield, 81st Force Support Squadron "Hatfield has processed thousands of common access cards with zero discrepancies," said Tech. Sgt. Iris McClean-Trotter, 81st FSS. "She developed an office card-stock tracking system and attained her 5-level six months ahead of schedule. She sets the standard." "The long hours and the hard work eventually do pay off," said Hatfield. Airman 1st Class Gary McGiffen, 81st Surgical Operations Squadron "I supervise a lot of people," said Maj. Heather Bright, 81st MSGS. "That being said, McGiffen is clearly one of the best Airmen we have on base. "I feel like I just did my job," said McGiffen. "We're all a team here and I have really great leadership. It's really all about being a team player." Airman 1st Class Justin Wescott, 345th Airlift Squadron "After arriving to the squadron, Wescott was able to fill a manning shortage in the deployment schedule and meet all requirements to deploy within three weeks," said Tech. Sgt. Zacharias Nagy, 345th AS. "His deployed crew won the 403rd Operations Group Aircrew of the Quarter. He's motivated, has met every challenge he's been faced with and he's ready for bigger and better challenges."
