An auditorium was officially dedicated to long-time instructor Leonard F. Adams at 10 a.m. March 12, 2013, at Wolfe Hall, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss.

Adams served most notably as the training development element chief for the 335th Training Squadron. His efforts earned the 335th TRS the 1998 and the 2000 Air Education and Training Command Training Squadron of the Year awards.

"Mr. Adams' dedicated service significantly impacted the training mission," said Lt. Col. Bradley McAlpine, 335th TRS commander. "He created an award winning atmosphere of teamwork throughout his career which focused on developing leaders.

The Outstanding Civilian Career Service Medal was presented at the dedication to Adams' family in recognition of his distinguished performance in support of the Air Force from March 26, 1980, to July 27, 2011.

Adams dedicated his life to Federal Service for 54 years, including 22 years of Air Force active duty and 32 years of Federal Civil Service.

"Every student who came through the school here took a part of Mr. Adams with them," said Debra Quigley, 335th TRS.

The auditorium is completed with a plaque, that was unveiled at the ceremony, outside the door and a quote by Adams on the interior wall, "It's all about the people."

"He had a huge impact on the population within our Personnel community" said McAlpine. "It's an honor and a privilege to dedicate this room to him, and to have his memory live on with us throughout the years."
