Robert Hicks relinquishes command of the 81st Logistics Readiness Squadron to Lt. Col. Stephen Wier, 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Bay Breeze Event Center. Hicks took command of the 81st LRS in July 2009 and is leaving Keesler to be chief of the logistics operations division at Fort Eustis, Va. Wier comes to Keesler from Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. where he's commander of the 460th LRS and deputy commander of the 460th Mission Support Group.
