81st Training Group honors top student, MTF Published June 8, 2011 By Susan Griggs 81st Training Wing Public Affairs KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- June 2, the 81st Training Group named its Airman of the Month and military training flight for May. Airman of the Month is Airman Basic Charles Norden, 332nd Training Squadron. Airman Norden, from Land O Lakes, Fla., graduates Aug. 1 from the radio frequency transmissions course in the 332nd Training Squadron. The five squadrons with nonprior service students select one Airman to compete at a monthly board. They're graded on personal appearance, communication skills and military bearing and respond to questions about customs and courtesies, dress and appearance, entries in the Airman's Manual and current events from the Keesler News. TheĀ 332nd MTF is the MTF of the month. The Mad Dogs scored the highest overall in marching, physical training, room inspections, open ranks, Airman's Manual, charge of quarters and retreat.
