Base provides needed water to residents

KEESLER AFB, Miss. -- Since the base's boil-water notice will remain in effect at least through Saturday, the 81st Training Wing has authorized the purchase of more drinking water for personnel, including military family housing residents.

Each resident is authorized up to 24 bottles (3 gallons) of water per occupant within the household.

Distribution is as follows:

Military family housing residents -- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. until noon Saturday (if necessary), Bay Breeze Event Center parking lot.

Student dorms -- through squadron MTLs.

Permanent party dorms -- from the Centralized Dormitory Management Operation (CDMO).

Lodging guests -- Tyer House lobby.
