Nwaelele heads for Lithuania as part of Armed Forces team
Danny Nwaelele, 81st Contracting Squadron, was a standout on the Air Force basketball team that won the Armed Forces championship May 12-17 at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South, Millington, Tenn. He was the Air Force’s top scorer with 74 points in five games. He was selected to the all-tournament team and the men’s All Armed Forces Team that represents the U.S. in the 49th Counseil Du Sport Militaire men’s basketball championship June 7-14 in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
