AFCEA teaching tools grants benefit four area schools Published Nov. 5, 2008 By Keesler Public Affairs Staff Keesler Public Affairs KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, MISS. -- Cynthia McWright, Gulfport High School; Jean Baucum, Biloxi High School; Patty Comer, Michel Seventh Grade School, Biloxi; and Penny Walton, Pass Road Elementary School, Gulfport, are the recipients of $1,000 teaching tools grants presented by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Gulf Coast chapter. The grants, presented at the Scope Warrior AFCEA luncheon Oct. 28, were funded jointly by AFCEA International and the Gulf Coast chapter, according to Lt. Col. Ray Adams Jr., 81st Communications Squadron commander and president of the Gulf Coast unit.
