It's official!

Keesler is scheduled to host an air show and open house March 28-29, 2015.

But we need your help to create an unforgettable slogan for the event that represents Keesler proudly. From now until Dec. 15, we are hosting a contest to find the name for the Keesler Air Show/Open House.

This will be the first Keesler Air Show/Open House since 2011 due to budget constraints. Keesler's last air show hosted roughly 160,000 people throughout the weekend.

As you can see, if your idea is picked, it will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people.  Remember with the air show/open house name, we need something short, sweet and catchy to highlight Keesler, its Airmen and the local community.

Here are some key things to remember:
· No profanity
· Must be short; this isn't a college essay
· Due by Dec. 15
· Winner selected Dec. 22

Submit all ideas to 81TRW.PA@us.af.mil or message our Facebook page. A panel of air show/open house committee members and base leadership will select the winning entry Dec. 15. Aside from seeing their idea posted everywhere, the winner will also be acknowledged at the air show/open house by Brig. Gen. Patrick Higby, 81st Training Wing commander. The winner and their immediate family will also be guests in the distinguished visitor tent at the air show.
