The exercise scenario began with an Airman accidentally hitting a 55-gallon drum of sulfuric acid with a forklift and knocking several more drums off of a truck causing the liquid to splash onto other Airmen. Immediately, the Airmen simulated skin and eye burns from exposure to the agent, while additional Airmen on the loading dock started coughing and experiencing shortness of breath.
