Saltoriya set to 'wow' with free Keesler show

Get ready to experience a whimsical journey through the circus experience as Saltoriya brings its circus arts and theater show to the Welch Theater, Aug. 1. at 1 p.m.

Saltoriya, which translates to "great leap" in Italian, takes audience members on a magical and uplifting voyage through today's modern circus. Currently running a two-month residency at the Beau Rivage, the cirque-style show features some of the best international aerialists and artists that push the limits of human ability.

The free Keesler mini-performance will feature acrobatics, comedy, and other acts that will put the audience on the edge of their seats. According to the show's creator and producer Misha Matorin, "We have gathered a group of international circus headliner acts together for one unforgettable event. Audiences will experience the flavor of world culture and will be taken on a joyful journey to the imaginary universe of Saltoriya."

Doors are set to open at 12:15 p.m., for seating, with the performance beginning at 1 p.m. Families are welcome to attend, however no strollers will be permitted inside the venue. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
