Base supply hosts grand opening

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. -- Keesler's base supply center, located in Building 4605 next to the 81st Contracting Squadron, had its grand opening ceremony March 27.

"We have more than 30 vendors," said Drew Camire, store manager. "The grand opening was a way to showcase what we have to offer, as well as remind everyone that we are open."

The BCS has been open since Aug. 28, 2013, but was only recently able to have its grand opening.

The center hosts a variety of supplies reserved for Government Purchase Card holders.

"Cash and personal credit cards are not authorized," said Lisa David, 81st CS, GPC coordinator. "And cardholders must have adequate money loaded to the card before making a purchase."

Stock items range from uniform and deployment gear to office and janitorial supplies.
