They are Col. (Dr.) William Moore, 81st Surgical Operations Squadron obstetrics/gynecology flight chief, and Steve Pivnick, 81st Medical Group public affairs chief. Moore has been assigned to Keesler Medical Center for 15 years of his 23 years in the Air Force. He became the base's chamber representative in May 2013. He's been involved with the Peter Anderson Arts festival, recruiting volunteers for special events, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, Taste of Ocean Springs, Breakfast with the Mayor and serving Christmas lunch to the city's public works department. "The chamber is a great civic group in Ocean Springs," Moore said. "Margaret Miller and Cynthia Sutton are so industrious and smart, with incredible ideas to help support all the businesses in Ocean Springs. The Board members have all been very hospitable. "I love the town, the schools, and all the great people who live there," he added. "It really has been a great 'additional duty' I've enjoyed performing for the 81st Training Wing." Pivnick, a current chamber board member, has been active with the organization since he arrived at Keesler in 1996 as the wing's community relations chief. He took over as public affairs chief at Keesler Medical Center in 1999. He retired as a senior master sergeant with 26 years of service in 1993 and began his civilian career in 1994.
