HAZMAT exercise prepares Keesler for real world
Tech. Sgt. Eric Hafner, 81st Security Forces Squadron, questions Airmen 1st Class Brian Hudson and Mark Dunton, 338th Training Squadron, during a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosive exercise scenario, Feb. 20, 2014, near Wolfe Hall, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. The exercise scenario began with a group of Airmen moving old boxes from a storage room where a box containing a bag of powder dropped, causing it to get onto several of the Airmen. Immediately, the Airmen simulated eye irritations, runny noses, difficulty breathing and burning sensations on their hands and faces from exposure to the agent.
