Keesler Air Force Base will re-open tomorrow, 29 Jan at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Emergency essential services will continue until then. Base Leadership will reconvene tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. to validate this decision. All personnel should avoid unnecessary travel.
Below are the most recent updates:
-The base exchange and commissary facilities will re-open at noon tomorrow.
-The Meadows Gate will open at 11:30 a.m., Commercial Gate at 10:30 a.m. and the Visitors Center will open at 12:00 p.m. 29 Jan.
-The Youth Center and Child Development Center will open at 11:30 a.m. and will close at the normal time of 5:45 p.m. Training will end at 5:30 p.m., there will be a short pickup window for those affected. Youth Center and Child Development Center will not serve lunch tomorrow, we are asking parents to ensure their children eat before they drop them off.
-The Golf Course, Marina, and the Bay Breeze Event Center will not be open due to the short day.
-Vandenberg Community Center will open at 4:00 p.m. -The Magnolia and Azalea Dining facilities will be open for breakfast from 7:00-8:30 a.m., and Live Oak will be closed. For lunch Live Oak and Azalea will be open from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and Magnolia from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The schedule for dinner will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. for Magnolia and Azalea, and midnight Meal at Azalea will be from 12:00 a.m.-1:30 a.m.
