MFLC reps offer support, resiliency training

Military and Family Life Counselors are available at the Keesler Airman and Family Readiness Center for service members and their families.

The free services include, but are not limited to:

-Deployment/reintegration issues
-Marriage and relationship issues
-Parenting and family
-Communication challenges
-Stress and anxiety/depression/grief and loss
-Short-term, non-medical counseling support
-Child and youth support, including school adjustment; deployment, separation and reunion adjustment; sibling and parent-child communication

MFLC representatives are Masters or Doctorate-level licensed counselors whose services are confidential with no records kept.

“Keesler’s MFLCs are professionals that are here to listen to and help service members, spouses, family members and children,” said Master. Sgt. Daniyel Blankenship, Keesler A&FRC NCO in charge. “Consultations are free and anonymous; if you or a loved one needs help, please reach out.”
