81st SFS hosts National Police Week Opening Ceremony
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Donaven Patterson, 81st Security Forces Squadron police services, pays respect to fallen defenders during the opening ceremony of the National Police Week commemoration at the Bay Breeze Event Center on Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, May 12, 2025. Established in 1962, National Police Week is a collaborative effort of many organizations dedicated to honoring America’s law enforcement community and pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
