In the line of fire: practice safe grilling

According to the Air Force Safety Center, there were 16,600 injuries involving grills in 2011. Approximately half were burn injuries and more than one-quarter involved children under five years of age. Additionally, almost one-third of these injuries occurred when lighting the grill. Grill safely

81st Dental Squadron receives new commander

The 81st Dental Squadron will welcome a new commander during a change of command ceremony in front of the Dental Clinic, July 15 at 8 a.m. Col. (Dr.) Robert Langsten will accept the squadron flag from Col. (Dr.) Chad Harris as Col. (Dr.) Tom Harrell, 81st Medical Group commander, officiates.

AF selects 73 Keesler senior airmen for promotion to staff sergeant

2nd Air Force changes command

Maj. Gen. Leonard Patrick relinquished command of the 2nd Air Force to Brig. Gen Mark Brown during a change of command ceremony here July 3. Gen. Robin Rand, commander of Air Education and Training Command, presided over the ceremony. Rand praised outgoing commander, Maj. Gen. Leonard Patrick.
