334th TRS welcomes new commander

KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. --
Lt. Col. Harry James, incoming 334th Training Squadron commander, took command from Lt. Col. Billy Wilson, Jr., outgoing 334th TRS commander, during a change of command ceremony here May 23.
Col. Leo Lawson, Jr., 81st Training Group commander, presided over the ceremony.
Prior to becoming the 334th TRS commander, James worked within the same squadron as the director of operations.
"I am truly humbled to be part of this community and the organization,” said James. “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the Airmen, civilians and military professionals in the 334th TRS.”
Wilson expressed his gratitude to the men and women of the 334th TRS in his final address as commander.
“A heartfelt thank you to the men and women of the 334th,” said Wilson. “For your devotion, for your professionalism and for trusting me to serve along side you, Aim High.”
Wilson’s next assignment will be at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., where he will be the airfield operations force development branch chief.
