CDC Writer is designed to train personnel on the Air Force Career Development Academy (AFCDA) processes for the production of Career Development Course (CDC) materials for 5 & 7-level upgrade training. Training includes: preparation of course outline and planning documents; developing topical material to meet AFSC training objectives; production of instructional units; editing and revision of CDC materials; development of measurement devices; preparation and assembly of CDC package; performing quality review and methods of gathering feedback.
This is an AETC course designed for personnel assigned to the role of CDC Writer and is available through Keesler AFB Faculty Development via distance learning (BlackBoard). CDC Writer has numerous course assignments and completion deadlines which require the student’s unhindered attention. Enrolled students should not be on TDY status or simultaneously enrolled in another course which would impact their ability to meet deadlines. Consider this prior to course enrollment. If conflict may arise, consider an alternate enrollment date.
Students must contact their Unit Training Manager (UTM) for official course requests. UTMs must forward scheduling requests to the "81TRSS/FacD Scheduling" organizational inbox in the global address list (GAL) or firstname.lastname@example.org
