Keesler AFB hosts Mammothon

Keesler Medical Center will hold its fourth annual “Mammothon” Nov. 6 from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for all eligible TRICARE beneficiaries. 

The event supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month with walk-in mammograms and a variety of cancer and health screening services.

To qualify for a mammogram participants must be at least 40 years old, due or overdue for their annual screening mammogram and be eligible for care at Keesler Medical Center.

The event is located in the Keesler Mammography Clinic, room 1A219.

For anyone unfamiliar with Keesler Air Force Base, the medical center is located at the end of Larcher Boulevard, which leads from the White Avenue gate (Main gate).

Enter the medical center at either the Outpatient Clinic or A Tower entrances. Staff members will be available to provide directions to the various locations.
